Our society represents the interests of Cardiothoracic Surgeons in South Africa, to promote the practice of cardiothoracic surgery and in so doing to develop good relationships with other societies and disciplines in South Africa and abroad.

Who can become a member?

Membership is open to all registered medical or paramedical practitioner providing that his/her specialist practice is either confined to the speciality of Cardiothoracic Surgery, or his/her practice is such as to give him/her a special interest in the subject of Cardiothoracic Surgery.
